THE HOUSE THAT KAY BUILT
For some, it began as an exercise class. For others, it was the curiosity of the exotic. More than a couple were dragged in by that crazy friend. How each of us got here is different, the reason we stayed, the same.
Our teacher, our friend,
KAYLOUISE
Kay taught us bellydance, yes. But really and most importantly she taught us love. The love of a challenge. The love of community. The love of ourselves.
Kay taught many students throughout her life, touching each of us. We learned from her, we grew with her. We laughed, we cried, we even yelled from time to time. But at the end we are a family.
On November 20th, 2021 Kay faded from the stage we call life. Having passed on what wisdom she could, we made a promise to her and ourselves to continue her legacy and spread her mantra
"EVERY BELLY WELCOME"
